Donna Marino joined Valencia College in January 2000. A member of the Valencia Foundation since 2007, Donna is responsible for donor relations, administering the constituent database, facilitating scholarship/endowed chair donations and continued coordination of foundation events.
Throughout the years Donna has advocated for Valencia students as part of the College and Community Relations department by assisting our Foundation with events and fundraising activities, coordinating the college's professional development training program Leadership Valencia, managing the distinguished artist series Visions & Voices and presenting to Valencia's new faculty and staff members.
In September 2009 Donna was awarded the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. She serves on the board of directors for the Association of Fundraising Professions and American Association for Women in Community Colleges and is a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. Donna has an MBA from Belhaven University and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida. It's important to note that Donna's foundation for excellence was obtained from Valencia where she earned her first college degree: Associate in Arts. Yes, Valencia is The Place for Potential!
