Vintners from around the world will donate and pour their finest wines, thanks to ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. Hundreds of wines will be available. Please join us by inviting friends and colleagues, sponsoring a table and contributing auction items.
The Premise
Several years ago, Valencia Foundation's board of directors agreed to host a fundraiser only if we could ensure that every single dollar donated for sponsorships, tickets and auction receipts went directly to scholarships. The contributions are then eligible to earn dollar-for-dollar match, effectively doubling the benefactor's investment.
Valencia/Orlando Health Partnership
In 2012, a new event partnership was established by our major sponsor ABC Fine Wine and Spirits. Valencia Foundation and Orlando Health will engage in this joint philanthropic partnership to benefit academic scholarships and medical education.
The Concept
Every item must be donated - from the gourmet food to the international wines poured by their own vintners, and from the advertising to the decor.
The Results
Our first five events raised $1.97 million for student scholarships.
