The President’s Circle
In 2003, the Valencia Foundation board of directors introduced the President’s Circle at Valencia Community College. Recognizing that learning is at the center of the college’s work, the President’s Circle is a special organization designed for members to play a vital role in helping the college president and the foundation address critical issues facing education and workforce development in Central Florida.
A membership in the President’s Circle offers a wide array of exciting opportunities to interact with the college president and advocates of learning: invitations to the president’s home for private receptions with artists, authors and other notable individuals, season passes to Valencia arts events, and invitations to the foundation’s annual holiday gathering.
A minimum unrestricted gift of $1,000 is required to join The President’s Circle. This contribution allows us to direct financial resources to a variety of important programs in areas of most need each year. Scholarships and hurricane relief for students and staff were among our priorities for unrestricted gifts in recent years. Our focus in 2008 will be scholarships for students in need.
