Thank you for your efforts! It is with your support that our Student Opportunity Circle Scholarship - the first created solely with donations from faculty and staff - reached the endowment threshold goal Fall 2010!

Faculty and Staff chairs and campaign ambassadors are scheduled to review scholarship applications Fall 2011. It is because of your support that Valencia students will receive the first Student Opportunity Circle scholarship award!

As Valencia College faculty and staff, we know first-hand the realities, challenges, and struggles our students face as they work to earn their degree or certificate. Financial difficulties are frequently the reason students stop attending school as they must work (sometimes multiple jobs) to provide for families and other obligations.

However, we all know that earning a college degree or certificate can make a huge impact on the quality of life and future for each individual student. The Valencia faculty and staff help each student we encounter to realize their dreams. We can also continue to join together in contributing to the Foundation and make a lasting impact on the ability of the Foundation to provide scholarships to deserving students.
