Welcome to the 2011-2012 Valencia Faculty and Staff Giving website. Thank you for your interest in the Valencia Foundation and for your dedication to students and their success.

Last year, faculty and staff donations grew by 39 percent. It was because of your good work that the Student Opportunity Circle Scholarship--the first scholarship created and contributed solely by faculty and staff--was fully endowed for perpetual disbursement. This fall, we are happy to report that eight students were selected to receive the first SOC scholarship award. Thank you!

The Valencia Foundation provides vital support to students and to the college through scholarships, endowed teaching chairs, and program support. At 2011 fiscal year end, the Foundation provided more than $1.3 million in scholarships and student support.Sadly, the scholarship dollars awarded still meets less than half of the unmet documented financial need of our students each year.

This year, two committee chairs were selected to guide the foundation on ways the Faculty and Staff may help alleviate this student need. Patti Riva and Katie Shephard can be reached if you have any questions or just wish to offer your support.
