2011-2012 Committee Ambassadors
Several of your colleagues who contribute regularly to the Valencia Foundation were identified as committee ambassadors. This year the committee ambassadors assisted in the screening and selection for the first award and distribution of the Student Opportunity Scholarship. This endowed scholarship was created and funded SOLEY through contributions of payroll deduction from the dedicated faculty and staff at Valencia College.

2009-2010 Committee Ambassadors
This year provided additional opportunities for increased faculty and staff support of the Student Opportunity Scholarship. The scholarship itself reached the endowment threshold of over $25,000 and will begin awarding to Valencia College students in the 2010-2011 academic year.

2008-2009 Campaign Ambassadors
Each of these individuals helped create the campaign plan for the creation of Student Opportunity Scholarship and, with the support of dedicated Valencia faculty and staff, were able to begin the process of creating an endowed scholarship for the students they serve.
